Tribute to Officer Brenton

For those not following Seattle's news. Officer Brenton was a police officer that was killed October 31st. He was shot while sitting in his patrol car. They have a man currently in custody as the shooter. The reason why this work below exists is because a local band leader decided to make a T shirt with a picture of the accused shooter and Officer Brenton's badge in a pool of blood. With the title "Deliver us from evil". To retaliate Komo News decided to hold a "contest" of sorts to see what the public could come up with as a T shirt design to combat the viral one already out on the market. This is what I came up with:I have heard some people complain of the police, going as far as to say that they hate them. They use the WTO protest as logical reasoning behind such hatred. It saddens me to see so many grasp onto hatred so fast, ignoring the many men and women that sacrifice their lives just to ensure we are safe. For now this is a small tribute to Officer Brenton.

Ammo Skull!

Here is a skull I 3D modeled. Yes it is fairly low poly, but it's whole purpose is to be hurled at enemies. We shall see how it looks in game soon ^.^

The quirky tower

For my next portfolio piece I have been absorbed with redoing a class project called "Dark Fairytale" I am making a dusky village with this lovely quirky tower as the center. After grinding so many 3D models out, it was kind of nice to just flow and paint this. With any luck I will have the project in Unity by Sunday.

Continuation of a UI

And I continue on working on elements for my Aztec god of death. This is supposed to be a radar, the small skulls represent enemies. It would be in the top left hand corner of the screen when you play as Mictlantecuhtli. I am actually enjoying this project, soon I will implement this design in the unity engine.

An interface for the death god

Well the assignment for my class was creating an interface. I figured that this would work as an ammo/health meter for Mictlantecuhtli. It has been a fun side project.

Mictlantecuhtli

So for my User Interface class my friend Carrie and I decided we should make addaptations of mythical gods, to make into first person based shooters. (yeah we were a little bored) I chose the Aztec god of death Mictlantecuhtli. Here is a quick silhouette. I am excited as Monday I will see what God/Goddess Carrie Choose.
